Stellar Blade - Recruit Passcode Specialists Guide
The vast majority of tasks in Stellar Blade can be relatively straightforward. However, there's one that will probably give you a headache since it involves discovering some well-hidden altars. Here's our guide on how to complete Recruit Passcode Specialists in Stellar Blade.
How to complete the Stellar Blade Recruit Passcode Specialists quest
The Recruit Passcode Specialists quest comes from the bulletin board. It appears on the terminal once you've interacted with any of the altars/trials mentioned in the next few sections.
Our Stellar Blade Recruit Passcode Specialists guide discusses what this activity entails. We also talk about the hints, and what makes the whole thing so tricky.
Recruit Passcode Specialists: Mission start and clue
If you've interacted with at least one trial in a region, you should be able to start the Recruit Passcode Specialists mission from the bulletin board. The quest has the following notable hints: "When I was exploring the Wasteland to look for resources, I found a strange place: a ship, smack in the middle of the Wasteland. Inside were many suspicious-looking containers, one of which was locked with some kind of passcode."
It's then followed by an emphasis on "followers" and "putting faith in religion."
Shipwreck location
The shipwreck is found in the southwestern corner of the Wasteland region. To reach it, go to the camp near the Solar Tower. Then, slide down using the rope. Continue up the sloping path that's crawling with several Naytiba hostiles.
Inside the ship, you'll find a terminal. However, a passcode is still required, and the symbols that you need come from the altars themselves.
Altars (also known as a Chapter of Trial) can be tagged in any order. In this particular guide, we've opted to follow the in-game numbering.
Chapter of Trial 1
Location: Matrix 11 - Proceed normally through the linear dungeon until you reach the abandoned settlement/hideout in the sewers. Go to the second-floor section and check the altar at the back.
Great Desert altar locations
Above, you can see the altars/trials that you need to locate in the Great Desert region.
Chapter of Trial 2
Location: Great Desert (North) - The northern part of the Great Desert has several ruined buildings. You might even think that there's nothing worth your while. However, one of the buildings has an altar.
Chapter of Trial 3
Location: Great Desert (South) - Make your way to the southeastern part of the zone. There's another destroyed building. It has an altar within a nook.
Chapter of Trial 4
Location: Great Desert (Hypertube) - Completing the Stellar Blade Recruit Passcode Specialists quest also requires you to pass through the Hypertube. Its entrance is in the northwestern part of the region. The Hypertube allows you to travel great distances at high speeds, but you must avoid the obstacles.
In any case, you should find yourself in an underground cavern with a small pond. Check the pathway to the side to find this trial/altar.
Wasteland altar locations
These are the Stellar Blade Chapter of Trial locations in the Wasteland. We've also marked the spot with the shipwreck terminal.
Chapter of Trial 5
Location: Wasteland (Eastern Great Canyon) - The closest landmark is the Eastern Great Canyon camp, which has an elevator that leads down to the ravine. Follow the winding path to the north and check a small nook at the base of the cliff. It's somewhat hard to see as well.
Chapter of Trial 6
Location: Wasteland (Western Great Canyon) - There's a camp in this area. Just a short distance away, there's a rock formation with an altar within.
Recruit Passcode Specialists solution
To solve the Recruit Passcode Specialists quest in Stellar Blade, you have to input the correct symbols on the keypad. The symbols correlate to how the Chapter of Trial documents are numbered (i.e. Chapter of Trial 1 has the first symbol).
Given this information, we can come up with this particular sequence (seen in the image above): β - θ - α - λ - σ - ζ.
Recruit Passcode Specialists reward
Keying in the correct sequence unlocks the cargo container. Inside, you'll find the Chapter of Trial 7 document. There's also a red crate that has the La Vie en Rose outfit. To be honest, the reward is a bit underwhelming since it's just a recolored version of the Black Rose attire.
In any case, this is how you complete the Stellar Blade Recruit Passcode Specialists quest. If you're keen on finding Eve's other attires, you can check our outfits and nano suits guide.
Stellar Blade has you facing off against vicious Naytiba, all while trying to figure out your origins. Action, thrills, and a bunch of collectibles/unlockables await. For more tips, you can visit our guides hub.
