RoboCop Expansion, Styx Sequel, And Cthulhu Co-Op Horror: Everything Revealed At Nacon 2025

While June and July have become a popular time of the year for gaming livestreams, Nacon got the party started early this week with the 2025 edition of Nacon Connect. The annual livestream followed the same format as previous editions, as several trailers for upcoming games were shown off, there were updates for current titles, and new gaming hardware was teased.
Overall, there were some pleasant surprises during Nacon Connect. Horror seems to be a popular topic, as two Cthulhu-themed games are on the way alongside first-person scares in The Occultist and The Fading of Nicole Wilson. Fans of RoboCop: Rogue City can also look forward to a new expansion later this year, a Styx threequel was revealed, and it looks like the current golden age of RPGs is set to continue with Edge of Memories.
In case you missed all of the game reveals, we've rounded them up below for you to check out. Looking ahead, there are several other events to keep an eye on, like the Tokyo Indie Games Summit starting on March 8, the Death Stranding 2: On the Beach SXSW panel on March 9, and the Future Games Show: Spring Showcase on March 20.
Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss

The first of two games with a Lovecraftian theme, Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss is billed as a first-person psychological thriller in which you take control of Noah, an agent for a secret Interpol division specializing in occult cases. Investigating the disappearance of miners in the depths of the Pacific Ocean, Noah's journey takes him to the ancient city of R'lyeh where Cthulhu is imprisoned, and he has his work cut out for him as he solves puzzles and attempts to resist the ancient god's influence.
Currently in development at The Council studio Big Bad Wolf, Cthulhu: The Cosmic Abyss will be available in 2026 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu

The second game featuring a Lovecraftian influence is The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu. Developed by Zeno Clash studio ACE Team, The Mound puts an interesting spin on Lovecraft's work as it's a first-person horror game with online co-op for up to four players. The reveal trailer showed off several chilling moments of reality-distorting spookiness inside of an oppressive jungle, and as a squad of conquistadors looking for a legendary city rumored to hold priceless treasures, players will need to work together to survive. With monsters assaulting your mind, you'll never know if you're battling otherworldly entities or your own allies as you fend off mental attacks.
The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu is scheduled to launch in 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Styx: Blades of Greed

Cyanide Studio's quick-witted thief makes a grand return this year in Styx: Blades of Greed. The debut trailer showed the sly goblin using stealth, cunning, and gadgets to escape a sticky situation, and Cyanide Studios says it'll be sticking (Styxing?) to the gameplay formula established in the previous games for the threequel. Expect more open-ended environments, a new arsenal of tools, and multiple approaches to help complete your objectives when Styx arrives in Fall 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Rennsport

For racing fans looking to dive into an ultra-realistic simulator, you can check out Rennsport when it arrives later this year. Developers Competition Company and Teyon say that the game will feature advanced photogrammetry technology and officially licensed content, and there'll be a dedicated mobile app for players to manage their profiles and plan in-game events. It'll be racing onto PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
RoboCop: Rogue City - Unfinished Business

Teyon's RoboCop: Rogue City earned positive reviews for its screen-accurate portrayal of the '80s icon, and it'll be getting a standalone expansion in Summer 2025. Unfinished Business will see RoboCop fight his way to the top of Omni Tower, as an elite band of mercenaries have taken over the building. Teyon says players can expect new weapons and brutal finishing moves, as well as special flashback missions that'll let you play as Alex Murphy before he received his cybernetic makeover.
Edge of Memories

Edge of Eternity creators Midgar Studio are returning to the land of Heryon with the next game in the series, Edge of Memories. A Japan-influenced RPG featuring the talents of renowned artists in the genre like Yasunori Mitsuda, Emi Evans, Sawako Natori, and Raita Kazama, the game features fast-paced combat and a colorful world to explore. It'll be released in Fall 2025 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
The Occultist

Daedelic Entertainment had two games to show off during the Nacon event, starting with The Occultist. As you might have gathered from the title, this is a creepy first-person survival-horror adventure where you'll play as paranormal investigator Alan Rebels. Having arrived on the island of Godstone and on the hunt for his father who was last spotted there, it's not long before Rebels finds himself investigating the strange town, the dark past of a local cult, and other eerie phenomena.
The Occultist will launch for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S in 2025.
The Fading of Nicole Wilson

Daedelic's second reveal also features a supernatural influence, and it looks like The Fading of Nicole Wilson will also see your heart rate spike if you decide to play it. Described as a story-driven folk-horror adventure from developer One-O-One Games, the game puts you in the shoes of ghost-hunter Brit, who accepts a new job at the Timberline Hotel. Armed with her camera and paranormal gear, Brit quickly realizes that dangerous forces are at play and her quest for fame might be cut tragically short.
The Fading of Nicole Wilson doesn't have a release date yet, but it is coming to PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch.
Hell Is Us

One of the big games coming from Nacon this year is Hell Is Us, an action-RPG that aims to blend action with the thrill of exploration. The new deep-dive into the game showed off more of the dystopian world that you'll get to travel in, and what makes it particularly interesting is that it won't contain the usual hallmarks of open-world game design. Developer Rogue Factor says that instead of quest-markers and the like, Hell Is Us will require players to rely on their observation skills, reasoning, and intuition to progress through the world and uncover its deepest secrets as part of its "player-plattering" design philosophy.
Hell Is Us will officially launch for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S on September 4.
Dragonkin: The Banished

Available now through Steam Early Access, Dragonkin: The Banished is a hack-and-slash action-RPG from Eko Software. The early launch of the game will let players take on the role of one of four heroes, as well as introduce gameplay mechanics like the Ancestral Grid skill system and dragon companions. The game will also launch for consoles upon its final release.
Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown

The third season for the live-service racing game Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown launches on March 19, and in a quick update, KT Racing showed off what players can expect. There'll be two new game modes--Navigation Races and Delivery Missions--added, along with three new cars, and the free Solar Pass is being expanded to offer 50 levels of rewards instead of 25. There'll also be quality-of-life updates added this month in the form of a solo racing mode and AI difficulty selection.
Ravenswatch

O Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo? It turns out that he's in the Hades-influenced roguelike Ravenswatch alongside his one true love Juliet. William Shakespeare's doomed lovers will join the game's roster of heroes as free DLC in May, but the twist here is that they can only be used in co-op mode. Players will need to synchronize the pair when they go on the offensive in order to wield their special attacks for maximum efficiency because if one of them falls, the other will follow them into the great beyond. If you haven't tried it out yet, Ravenswatch is available to play on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Switch.
