We are now just days away from the start of Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2, and the people are getting restless--we're very ready to move on from sword season at this point. Fortunately, Season 2 already looks like a pretty massive change of pace from Season 1, as we say goodbye to all the cool Japanese ghosts and say hello to new criminal endeavors. When does Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 begin?
Season 1 is currently scheduled to come to a close on February 21 at 11 PM PT/ 2 AM ET. That would mean that Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2 should begin a few hours later on the morning of Friday, February 21.
Will Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1 have a live finale event?
Fortnite held its end-of-season live event on Saturday, February 15, and it saw the NPC Daigo become kaiju-sized and have a huge fight against loot island boss Shogun X. The battle left a big, golden, glowy thing up in the mount above Warrior's Watch that will remain until the season ends.
