Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes - How To Unlock The Divination Parlor
Hundreds of potential allies are scattered all over the known world in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Naturally, your curiosity would be piqued, and you might wonder where to find them. Here's our guide on how to unlock the Divination Parlor in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. We also discuss how to recruit B'baba and Faye.
How to unlock the Divination Parlor in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes
The Divination Parlor in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is unlocked once an oracle named B'baba joins your forces. This is also related to finding a little thief named Faye.
Where to find Faye
You meet Faye at the walls along the left-hand side of your town headquarters/home base. Note that we only stumbled upon Faye once our base was at level 2. As such, we cannot confirm if she could appear assuming your castle is still level 1.
Where to find B'baba
Since Faye scurries off, the soldiers will tell you that only one person can find her. It's none other than B'baba, who's located in Daphan Village, which is east of the city of Hishahn. Upon entering the village, check the house in the upper-left corner and talk to the B'baba. The fortune teller has already prepared for your arrival, and she readily joins your forces.
You should now be able to construct the Divination Parlor in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. It only requires 1,600 Headquarters Funds. Once built, you'll see the stall in the room to the right of the Drafting Studio on the first floor (i.e. where you unlock buildings and upgrades).
The first hint
Before we discuss the functions of B'baba's Divination Parlor, let's first talk about how to recruit Faye in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. This mini-quest of sorts requires you to talk to B'baba each time, since she provides clues as to Faye's whereabouts in the castle.
The first clue is about "somebody loud and dressed in pink." That fella is Yusuke, who's chilling on the rooftop of the base. Make your way there to encounter Faye, who manages to run off.
The second hint
Talk to B'baba again and she'll tell you that Faye is with someone who's "rude and wears white." That's none other than Francesca, who's inside the clinic. It's the far-left room on the first floor of the HQ.
The third hint
Have another chat with B'baba and climb up the steps to the second floor. There, you'll stumble upon Faye, who's also with Yume and her yeti mount. After talking to Faye, she finally decides to join your team.
Using the Divination option to see a character's location
Going back to the Divination Parlor in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Its primary function is to tell you the location of characters that you've yet to recruit. Here's a quick summary:
- The act of Divining costs baqua/gold. If a character already has a portrait, it means you've met them beforehand, but you've yet to unlock the requirement that allows you to recruit them. Meanwhile, if you see ones without portraits, it means that you've yet to interact with them in the game.
- Be sure to check back with B'baba whenever major events or battles occur. There are times when new options get added to the list, as that's the time that they're available for recruitment.
- Conversely, certain characters can appear even though you won't be able to recruit them until much later.
- Certain hints are fairly clear, but there are those that are quite vague.
- You can learn more about various heroes in our character recruitment guide.
Using the Divination option to see a character's background
The second function of the Divination Parlor is to provide you with background information on characters that have already joined the resistance army. The first character bio costs 500 baqua, and the second bio (if applicable) costs 1,000 baqua. You should also see a character's favorite food, which is helpful if you plan on completing the cooking challenges.
In any case, that's everything you need to know about Faye, B'baba, and the Divination Parlor in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Those who want to find all potential allies should check our character recruitment guide.
Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes takes you all across the lands of Allraan, where you bolster the resistance forces by allying with powerful combatants and growing your headquarters. For more tips, you can visit our guides hub.
