Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake Discounted For Switch, Xbox, And PS5 At Amazon
Square Enix's Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake has largely maintained its $60 list price since its release last November, but Amazon currently has the turn-based RPG on sale for its lowest price yet. Amazon's Dragon Quest 3 deals include all three console platforms--Nintendo Switch, PS5, and Xbox Series X--but each edition is priced differently. Since these are "random" undefined deals, it's unclear when the gorgeous remake of the all-time classic will jump back up to full price.

Amazon's Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake deal is different for each console platform, but regardless of which one you pick, you will pay less than the game's $60 list price. Xbox Series X users can get the RPG for the lowest price. The $46 price on Xbox is an all-time low for the game in general. The Nintendo Switch edition is available for $50.40, which is the best price yet for Nintendo players. The PS5 version costs $54.50, which is only about 10% off list price. That said, it's also the lowest price we've seen for the PlayStation edition.
Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake recreates the original 1988 version of the game with all-new visuals, reorchestrated music, and even some new gameplay tweaks, while maintaining the content of the original. The original Dragon Quest 3 was notable for having one of the first class-switching systems in a console RPG, and a non-linear, open-world structure. The game still holds up well today, and the HD-2D Remake gives it a beautiful visual upgrade along with numerous quality-of-life features.
