Call Of Duty: Warzone Experimenting With 150-Player Matches
Raven Software has announced a major change for Call of Duty: Warzone, as the studio is experimenting with 150-player lobbies for standard battle royale playlists.
Not every match will be 150 players, though, as Raven said it's only doing this "intermittently" as a means of testing things. "We will be closely monitoring player feedback, performance, and overall impact on match flow over the coming weeks." The changes do not apply to Ranked modes.

Warzone originally began with 150-player matches before Activision rolled it back to 100 in 2023. In 2024, Activision pushed the player count up to 120.
