All The PlayStation Plus December 2024 Games For Premium And Extra Subscribers

The holidays are knocking at the door and PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers will have 15 new games they can dive into while hopefully enjoying a winter break. Whether you're into racing, slice-of-life adventures, dating sims, or classic platformers, all will be available starting December 17.
Three timeless PlayStation classics joined the Premium Game Catalog just yesterday: Sly 2: Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves, and Jak & Daxter: The Precursor Legacy. Joining that lineup on PlayStation Plus Premium is the immersive PSVR 2 experience Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge.
Just in time to celebrate Sonic the Hedgehog 3 in theaters, Sonic Frontiers will be added. While the game had mixed reactions from critics back in 2022, some players were more enthusiastic.
All PS Plus subscribers can also claim this month's batch of new games as Aliens: Dark Descent, It Takes Two, and Temtem were added last week.
Finally, in case you missed it, PlayStation Portal released a system update that allows PlayStation Plus Premium members to test Cloud Streaming (Beta) for select PS5 games on Game Catalog.

Sonic Frontiers (PS4, PS5)

Sonic goes on his biggest quest ever with his first open-world game in Sonic Frontiers. The iconic hero embarks on another high-speed adventure, as he searches for the Chaos Emeralds once again. As Sonic races across five massive Islands, he'll face off against the usual robotic hordes, all the while trying to find a way back home.

Forspoken (PS5)

Forspoken is an action-RPG that follows Frey, a young New Yorker, as she navigates the cruel land of Athia, using her magical abilities to navigate vast landscapes and battle monstrous creatures. The game offers a variety of playstyles, from fast-paced to strategic, showcasing the power of magic in a captivating world.

Rabbids: Party of Legends (PS4)

The latest entry in the Rabbids series, Rabbids: Party of Legends offers a thrilling multiplayer experience where players can engage in various minigames and challenges. While the lack of online play might limit some activity, it's a fair addition to the franchise and great if you want to press start and go.

WRC Generations (PS4, PS5)

WRC Generations is an exciting rally simulation where players drive cars from the WRC series (World Rally Championship), including hybrid models. The hybrid era revolutionizes rally performance, requiring drivers and teams to adapt to brand-new scenarios. Players must manage the battery and adapt the engine if they want to hit the finish line. There's also now a league mode that allows online competition.

FIST: Forged In Shadow Torch (PS4, PS5)

FIST: Forged In Shadow Torch is a diesel-punk platformer featuring intense combat, challenging puzzles, and vibrant characters. After defeating the Robotic Legion in the Resistance War, former freedom fighter Rayton the rabbit faces conspiracies and more as he tries to rescue a friend and don his giant armored fist once again.

Jurassic World Evolution 2 (PS4, PS5)

Jurassic World Evolution 2 is the sequel to Frontier's 2018 management simulation, featuring four game modes and an expanded dinosaur roster. Players work alongside iconic characters to control, conserve, and contain wild dinosaurs across the United States.

Coffee Talk (PS4, PS5)

No Barbra Streisand here, but there are magical and strange creatures abound in this alternate reality in present-day Seattle. Players can immerse themselves in the stories of the city's inhabitants like a dramatic love story between an elf and a succubus, an alien trying to understand humans’ lives, and many others modern readers will find strongly echoing the world around them.

Coffee Talk Episode 2: Hibiscus & Butterfly (PS4, PS5)

Reconnect with your fantasy friends in an alternate Seattle setting, where humans, orcs, elves, and other races coexist. As a barista, listen to their stories, influence their hearts, and enjoy a warm cup of coffee talk, fostering a sense of community in a time of isolation.

A Space for the Unbound (PS4, PS5)

Space for the Unbound is an adventure game set in rural Indonesia, focusing on the relationship between two high school sweethearts with supernatural powers. The game follows their journey of self-discovery and uncovering hidden secrets.

Phogs (PS4)

Originally released on the Switch in 2020, Phogs is a puzzle-filled adventure with Red and Blue, a duo of dogs, connected by a single tube-shaped body. Players can navigate themed worlds of Food, Sleep, and Play, offering single-player and shared-controller gameplay.

Biped (PS4, PS5)

Biped is a co-op game featuring bipedal robots Aku and Sila, where players guide them through intricate paths to planetary beacons, using sticks to control their movements. Communicate and coordinate to overcome challenges together and discover how well you work as a team.

Sly 2: Band of Thieves (PS4, PS5)

The PlayStation 2 classic, Sly 2: Band of Thieves, is heading to this generation of gamers with brand-new features. Players can now quick save, watch and rewind their missions, and even have custom video filters this time around. Being sneaky has never looked this good.

Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves (PS4, PS5)

The quickly released sequel to Band of Thieves, Sly 3: Honor Among Thieves brings the thieving gang back together for its largest heist ever. Your favorite characters from the Cooper gang return as well as new playable specialists like Carmelita Fox and the Guru, the koala shaman.

Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy (PS4, PS5)

One of the PS2's best platform series installments, Naughty Dog introduced the iconic duo, Jak and Daxter, in Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy back in 2001. Daxter, who was turned into an Ottsel (half otter, half weasel), has to seek help from Jak as they embark on an adventure filled with stylized combat, radical vehicles, and pretty decent humor.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge (PSVR 2)

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge is a VR FPS game where players play as a Droid Repair Technician, embarking on thrilling missions in the Batuu wilds, confronting the Guavian Death Gang, infiltrating First Order facilities, and exploring different eras of the galaxy. Players can also become a Jedi, train with their padawan, or even take on a bounty.
