10 Coolest Things We Saw At Toy Fair 2025

The New York Toy Fair 2025 has just wrapped up, giving collectors and toy fans sneak peeks at some of the biggest companies' offerings for the year and beyond. GameSpot was invited to attend this year's event and was allowed to check out and get hands-on with some of these. There were a few instances of things we can't yet talk about, so these are some of the big things we saw and can share.
Some of our favorites from this year's Toy Fair include a detailed Dr. Doom helmet and cowl, a Star Wars legend's first Black Series figure, and two iconic 1980s properties crossing streams.
A quick honorable mention though: The Lego Ideas Cullen House. Lego Ideas is a fan-submitted program for the company to make official sets. This has been one of the most desired Ideas since Voltron was released and went viral. The set officially got the required 10,000 votes to go into production and was finally released last month as a Lego Ideas exclusive.
Lego had the set displayed for the first time so fans could finally get a look at the set after years of development. It comes with seven mini-figures and includes Jacob Black in wolf form.
The company also had the Bluey Lego set in the showroom, which you can check out for yourself here.
1. Transformers Studio Series 86 Devastator

Revealed last year, this massive Combiner hits the Studio Series for the first time. The five-piece robot made from the Constructicons (Bonecrusher, Hook, Long Haul, Mixmaster, Scavenger, and Scrapper) hits stores later this year, starting with Hook and Long Haul in a two-pack. The rest of the robots will be sold separately. Even though Hasbro was only able to show off the unfinished prototype, it's still impressive up close with all those details that mimic the animated show perfectly.
2. McFarlane's Superfriends

The Challenge of the Superfriends animated series defined the Justice League and their biggest bads for a generation despite only having an original 16-episode run. Numerous toys have been made from these classic designs for decades, but now McFarlane has taken the animated style and brought them to a larger scale in this first wave. Coming later this year, the first wave will include Sinestro, Lex Luthor, Batman, and Green Lantern.
There will also be a Platinum Red Batman from the series' Universe of Evil storyline. A Riddler figure will be a Red Label chase, as well. Each figure comes with a themed accessory that was featured on the show.
3. Mattel's ThunderCats x MOTU

While the Turtles of Grayskull line might have had mixed reviews, the newest crossover for He-Man and the Masters of the Universe seems to have been a success from its first looks. Taking elements from both Third-earth and Eternia, this wave includes the Skeletor/Mumm-Ra (dubbed Skell-Ra), Lion-O, Cheetara, and Battle Cat Man, the first figure of its kind. This was our first look at the potential second wave of He-Man, Tigra, and Panthro in Man-In-Arms-type of armor.
4. Bandai's Jaws Bath Bomb

Celebrating Jaws' 50th anniversary, Bandai joined the golden celebration by giving fans something a bit different. Shaped like the Orca, you can drop these bombs in your bath to initially turn your water blue like the ocean--only to turn bathtime into looking like a crime scene as it eventually starts turning red. After the bomb has fizzled out, it will reveal the shark's head that you can display.
This was originally only available in Japan, and now Bandai has added a few more heads to collect, including one with the gas tank in his mouth as well as a charred version.
5. Jazwares' Vault Orange Cassidy

Revealed during Jazware's Vault presentation, this "sketch" version has the AEW star outlined and sketched out on the sculpt rather than actual paint. He'll come with various hands, including his trademark lazy thumbs up, a soft goods removable jacket, and an elbow pad. There's also the International Championship, which is the title that Orange is synonymous with.
Orange was on site to reveal the figure alongside Jazwares' Jeremy Padawer, and is the first type of design in the AEW collection.
6. Hasbro Marvel Legends Series Doctor Doom Mask

With Avengers: Doomsday on the horizon, Marvel is ready to put its greatest supervillain in the spotlight once again. The same series that gave fans Iron Man's helmet and Star-Lord's mask now brings the highly detailed visage of Doom so you can be Latveria's ruler.
This 1:1 scale sculpt was inspired by his iconic Jack Kirby design, which comes with a removable fabric hood, and includes a display base. Preorders start March 6 and ship this summer.
7. PureArts Assassin's Creed Shadows Yasuke And Naoe Statues

Though Assassin's Creed Shadows was delayed and will hopefully arrive in a few weeks, PureArts had some of the collectibles fans can pick up in the coming months. They include these 1/8 scale statues of both playable characters, Yasuke and Naoe.
Both include LED lights, powered by a USB-C cable, and stand 11 inches tall. Incredibly intricate and detailed from the hilt of their swords to the tiles of the roof, they're both available for preorder now and expected to hit stores later this year.
8. McFarlane Fallout Ghoul Figure

Featuring a show-accurate sculpt, it will be part of a small wave that includes Ella Parnell's Lucy. A representative from McFarlane confirmed there will be more on the way, and even more Fallout merch based on the game series, as well.
While this was simply a prototype, the figure will be seven inches tall and comes with 15+ points of articulation.
9. Polly Pocket x The Office Compact

Part of the Mattel Creations line, this collab between The Office and Polly Pocket puts the antics of Dunder Mifflin in your hands. When folded, the set is shaped like boss Michael Scott's World's Best Boss coffee mug. The set comes with six mini-figures and accessories to reenact some of the show's iconic moments, including Pam getting her teapot, Kevin and his chilli, and Jim putting Dwight's stapler in jello.
10. Prince Xizor Black Series Figure

It's become a running joke among Star Wars collectors that Hasbro has avoided putting Shadows of the Empire characters into the Black Series. That streak was broken late last year, and we finally have our first look at the villainous and seductive Prince Xizor.
Gone are the energy-blade fans from his Kenner release. Instead, he comes with his scepter-staff weapon. His ornate robe is detailed and includes soft goods for his elbow shawls. We just need Dash, Imperial Guard Luke, Guri, and maybe Chewbacca in his Snoova disguise and we're in business.
