City are the only side among the quarter-finalists to have won the FA Cup in the last 66 years and are aiming to reach a third consecutive final. A victory at Bournemouth will also see City reach the semi-finals for the seventh straight season.
Manchester City XI vs Bournemouth – Predicted lineup and team news
Manchester City team news
Pep Guardiola confirmed in his pre-match press conference that Ederson is available for selection. The goalkeeper missed Brazil’s fixtures during the international break with an abdominal issue. Josko Gvardiol is also fit despite sustaining a knock while representing Croatia over the break.
Gvardiol’s availability is a big boost, given City remain without Manuel Akanji, Nathan Ake and John Stones. Oscar Bobb is edging closer to a first-team return after featuring for the youth side, but is unlikely to feature today. Rodri remains a long-term absentee with an ACL injury and Guardiola has said that City will take a cautious approach with his return.
Manchester City Predicted Lineup
Manchester City predicted XI: Ederson; Lewis, Khusanov, Dias, Gvardiol; Gonzalez, Kovacic; Foden, Doku, Marmoush; Haaland.
