The 59-year-old wrestler announced via Instagram that he was involved in a serious car accident on Tuesday, April 1. He posted a photo of his damaged car, documenting the damaged front bumper, the missing front hood and the shattered windshield.
"TOUGH DAY FOR MICK," the Instagram caption began. He then revealed that he doesn’t know how he is “still walking around after this accident.” He confirmed that he is currently at the hospital and suffered a minor concussion. Foley also noted that he’s sore from his knees to his neck.
A representative for Foley did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for more information on Tuesday.

Several people wished the WWE star a speedy recovery. “Only you could walk out of a car in that shape and be mostly fine. Prayers up sir. Hope you’re recovering quickly and painlessly,” retired wrestler Dean Mojo Muhtadi wrote.
“You’ve actually did more damage in The ring than with that car. GOD Bless you Mick,” retired wrestler Kurt Angle added. WWE ring announcer Alicia Taylor commented, “Omg! Glad you’re ok Mick!! ❤️.”
“Praying for your full recovery, Mick. ❤️,” Young Sheldon’s Will Sasso commented.
