The NASCAR Cup Series takes on the half-mile paper clip for the first time in 2025 with the Cook Out 400 at Martinsville Speedway.

Three physical races are upcoming, with Sunday's race at Martinsville followed by races at Darlington and Bristol. That means tempers will shorten and fray over the next few weekends. Martinsville forces drivers to use the bumper, for good or bad.

Last week, Kyle Larson charged late to win at Homestead, passing teammate Alex Bowman with seven laps to go.

Christopher Bell is on the pole for Sunday's race, with Chase Elliott joining him on the front row.
