VOTE: YMCA South Bend Tribune 2024-25 Girls Basketball Player of the Year
With the 2024-25 high school girls basketball season now in the books for both Indiana and Michigan, it is now time to vote for the South Bend Tribune Girls Basketball Player of the Year, presented by the YMCA of Greater Michiana.
This is the fan vote portion of the process. The Tribune will release its selection for Player of the Year, plus our All-Area team, in the near future.
WE HAVE RECENTLY CHANGED THE RULES TO THE POLL. You will now only be able to vote once per hour, per device. For example, if you have a phone, computer and tablet, you can vote three times an hour, once on each device. We are hoping this makes thing as fair as possible to give everyone a shot at winning the vote.

The poll will still remain open until 11:59 p.m. Thursday, March 27. You can find the link to the poll by SCROLLING TO THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE.
Here are the 20 nominees, in alphabetical order by school.
Brandywine (Mich.) senior Adeline Gill
Averaged 12.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2 steals per game.
Brandywine (Mich.) senior Miley Young
Averaged 9 points, 4 rebounds, 4.4 assists and 3.1 steals per game. Brandywine went 27-1 this season, reaching MHSAA Division 3 state semifinals.
Bremen senior Kila Foster
Averaged 18.6 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game.
Bremen junior Eliana Grubbs
Averaged 13.7 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.7 steals per game.
Bremen junior Emma Kincaid
Averaged 12.3 points, 6.4 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 2.3 steals per game. The Lions finished 24-3 and were IHSAA Class 2A sectional champs.
Elkhart senior Danica Barnes
Barnes was one of the top scorers in the NIC, earning first team all-conference honors along the way.
Elkhart Christian junior Ivy Clapsaddle
Averaged 12.9 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 steals per game as the Eagles went 21-6, reaching the Class 1A semi-state semifinals.
LaVille senior Brooke Edison
Averaged 13.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.4 steals. Lancers finished with a 15-8 record.
Marquette Catholic junior Laniah Davis
Averaged 19.4 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 3.4 steals per game for Blazers, who finished 23-5 and reached Class 1A semi-state title game.
Mishawaka Marian freshman Kariya Byer
Despite Marian finishing with a 5-17 record, Byer was named second team all-NIC after averaging 12.1 points and 10.8 rebounds per game.
Northridge senior Rielyn Goodwin
Averaged 11.8 points, 3.3 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.1 steals per game.
Northridge sophomore Lily Scholl
Averaged 15.8 points, 6.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 3.1 steals per game. Raiders finished 21-4, losing in the sectional final to eventual 4A state runner-up Warsaw.
NorthWood senior Claire Payne
Averaged 14.5 points, 11.8 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.7 blocks per game. NorthWood posted 19-5 record, losing to eventual semi-state finalist Columbia City in the opening round of the 3A sectional.
Penn senior Jessa Troy
Averaged 13.1 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 2.6 steals per game. First team all-NIC pick.
Penn freshman Addison Hummel
Averaged 10.5 points and 8 rebounds per game. Penn finished 19-6, losing to 24-2 Washington in the first round of a 4A sectional.
Plymouth senior Sophie Miller
Averaged 11.6 points and 5.8 rebounds per game. Pilgrims finished 13-9 on the season.
South Bend Saint Joseph senior Kenadie Schrock
Averaged 12.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3 assists and 3.5 steals per game. Was a first team all-NIC selection. Huskies went 12-9 this year.
South Bend Washington senior Kira Reynolds
Averaged 14.8 points, 13.4 rebounds, 6 assists, 3.5 steals and 6.5 blocks per game.
South Bend Washington senior Monique Mitchell
Averaged 18.2 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 3 blocks per game. Was named to the Indiana All-Star team.
South Bend Washington senior Ryiah Wilson
Averaged 14.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 4 assists and 6.1 steals per game. Panthers finished 24-2, winning the NIC and a Class 4A sectional title along the way.
