Warriors' win streak continues to grow after holding off Knicks in tight battle, 97-94
After matching their previous season-best of five straight wins, the Golden State Warriors continue to stack victories to grow their win streak to a season-high of seven straight. After blowing out the Sacramento Kings on Thursday, the Warriors handled business again to hold off the New York Knicks in a tight battle on Saturday night at Chase Center.
Steph Curry led the Warriors with 28 points on 8-of-20 shooting from the field with four made 3-pointers to give him 4,004 made triples for his career. Curry tacked on seven rebounds and five assists in 35 minutes against the Knicks.
In an animated back-and-forth battle with Karl-Anthony Towns, Draymond Green tallied nine points, four rebounds, three assists, a block and steal. Towns led the Knicks with a game-high 29 points and 12 rebounds. The two star big men appeared to be jawing back and forth at each other throughout the evening. Green got the last laugh, hitting Curry's signature "night night" celebration after hitting a layup in the final minute of the game.

Moses Moody continued his impressive stretch of play, scoring 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting from the field with four made 3-pointers in 33 minutes. Jimmy Butler and Jonathan Kuminga were the other two Warriors to score in double figures against the Knicks.
Following a win over New York, Steve Kerr became the franchise's all-time leader in coaching wins with 558 career wins with Golden State, passing franchise legend Al Attles.
The red-hot Warriors will get Sunday off before beginning a tough back-to-back at Chase Center with the Denver Nuggets and Milwaukee Bucks coming to town starting on Monday.
