The Philadelphia 76ers dropped to 24-57 on Friday with a 124-110 loss to the Atlanta Hawks. The Sixers put up a good fight and held an 8-point lead in the second quarter, but the Hawks needed to come up with a win so they relied on Trae Young to get the job done.
With the loss, the Sixers did officially clinch the fifth-worst record in the league as they continue their quest to keep their top 6 protected draft pick. Of course, they won't know their fate until the lottery on May 12, but the Sixers did their job in order to finish in the bottom six of the league to be in the best position to keep that pick.
