Misc.: Edwards is back for the first time since he lost the welterweight title to Belal Muhammad in the UFC 304 main event this past July. He was set to take on Jack Della Maddalena this week, but Maddalena was shifted to – perhaps adding insult to injury for Edwards – a title fight at UFC 315 against Muhammad.

Misc.: Brady suffered the lone loss of his career to current champ Muhammad about 30 months ago.
