UCF forward Keyshawn Hall declares for the 2025 NBA Draft
UCF forward Keyshawn Hall has declared for the 2025 NBA Draft.
The 6-foot-7, 235-pound Hall started all 33 games for the Knights, leading the Big 12 in scoring (18.8 points per game) while averaging 7.1 rebounds. He was named to the second-team, all-conference honors and all-newcomer team this season.
Hall announced his decision on social media on Tuesday.
“First off, I want to thank Jehovah God and Jesus Christ for always being by my side, through every high and low, and for never giving up on me. With that being said I am excited for the opportunity to see my dreams become reality. I will be declaring for the 2025 NBA Draft,” Hall posted on X.
Hall scored 20 or more points 14 times in the regular season, including three outings with 30 or more. Notably, his 40-point game against Arizona State ranks as the third-highest scoring performance in UCF’s Division I history.
UCF (17-16, 7-13 Big 12) is preparing to face Oregon State in the first round of the inaugural College Basketball Crown on Tuesday at The MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
Hall was asked about his future when the Knights entered the Big 12 tournament on March 10.
“I don’t want to send these guys out on a selfish note, thinking about other places or the NBA,” said Hall. “I’ve just been trying to keep that stuff to the side of my head and not think about those things. I’ve been trying to stay locked in and keep playing basketball because when you get too comfortable and think you have arrived, that’s the worst thing ever because you get complacent.”
He was one of 11 newcomers who joined the program in the offseason after one season at George Mason.
During his sophomore year, Hall started 28 games for the Patriots, averaging 16.6 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 30 minutes on the court per game. His performance earned him a spot on the All-Atlantic 10-second team.
Originally from Cleveland, he began his college career at UNLV, averaging 5.4 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 10 minutes in 18 games for the Rebels.
Hall attended Cleveland Heights High School and the Skill Factory in Georgia before finishing at Denver Prep during the 2021-22 season, where he averaged 24 points, 5 rebounds, and 5 assists per game.
A junior, Hall could still return to the college game if he doesn’t sign with an agent.
