Tyler Herro's brother Myles starts scrum with handshake line shove after loss (video)
NBA star Tyler Herro’s younger brother, Myles, drew some negative attention this week after his team’s loss in a Wisconsin high school playoff game.
Myles Herro’s Whitehall team had just lost a sectional game to Waterford 56-49, and the teams were in the handshake line, when Herro pushed Caden Gustafson for unknown reasons. The push disrupted the handshake line, leading to a brief altercation that required coaches and security to intervene before the situation was de-escalated.

It was an unfortunate ending to Herro’s high school career. The 6-foot-3 guard had scored his 1000th career point earlier in the evening.
According to 247 Sports, Herro is a 3-star guard with offers to Western Illinois and Cal-Poly. He had a very good season, averaging 21.5 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 4.7 assists on 49 percent shooting from the field.
Herro is the youngest brother of Tyler Herro, who is in his sixth season with the Miami Heat after being drafted 13th overall in 2019. He won the Sixth Man of the Year Award in 2022. Myles and Tyler’s middle brother, Austin Herro, recently completed his freshman season at South Carolina.
According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel's Zac Bellman, Waterford Athletic Director Jill Stobber said the Shitnall principal and athletic director had reached out to her with a letter of apology.
"It's evident they are taking this matter seriously, and we trust their administration will handle the situation appropriately. We appreciate the expediency with which they are addressing the matter," Stobber said in a statement to Bellman.
