Twelve-time women's world champion Reanne Evans lost five successive frames as Poland's Antoni Kowalski completed a 10-4 World Championship qualifying victory in Sheffield.

England's Evans, 39, who last won the women's title in 2019, won the final frame before the break to trail 5-4 at the English Institute of Sport.

But Kowalski surged ahead after the interval and the 21-year-old's third break of 63 sealed Evans' fate.

Sixteen qualifiers will join the top-16 ranked players in the World Championship, which starts at the Crucible Theatre on Saturday, 19 April.
