The Idaho Man Who Skied 2 Million Vertical Feet This Season

An Idaho skier has racked up an impressive amount of lift-accessed vert this season.

Tamarack Resort skier Greg Paquette hit 2 million vertical feet of skiing this season on March 29, 2025.

According to a social media post by the resort, Paquette is the first person to ever hit the milestone at Tamarack Resort. 118 days of skiing with his family and and friends landed Paquette at the 2 million mark and he shows no signs of stopping.

Tamarack, which is north of Boise, Idaho, boasts 2,800 feet of vertical drop with a base elevation of 4,900ft and summit at 7,700.
