TCU star Hailey Van Lith has been balling all season and is one of the best stories in women's basketball.
It's hard not to see Van Lith's name in the headlines for March Madness. TCU and Van Lith have been re-writing history books all season long and are now doing it during the most crucial time of the year. Things are going so well that the senior guard has been fittingly dubbed "Miss March."
So, as Van Lith's story continues to light up the March Madness stage, more information about the star becomes available, including the weird (but true!) fact that one of her legs is shorter than the other.
According to Wesley Branch of USA TODAY, her left leg is half an inch shorter than her right. In fact, it's harder for Van Lith to drive to one side over the other because the right side of her body (including her hand, foot and quad muscle) is stronger.
“I definitely always prefer to plant off my right leg, " Van Lith said. “I think fading to my left is a lot more comfortable because the leg is shorter so it probably doesn't touch the ground as much.”
Kudos to Van Lith for not letting anything slow her greatness down.
