Texas Longhorns head football coach Steve Sarkisian and his wife, Loreal Sarkisian, revealed on Instagram that they recently welcomed a baby boy—shocking fans who were unaware the couple was expecting.
Steve, 51, and Loreal, 39, managed to keep the pregnancy under wraps throughout the college football season, with Loreal frequently attending games in standout game-day outfits—including a white denim cowgirl look during the College Football Playoff and a burnt orange leather ensemble during the semifinal matchup against Ohio State. The baby bump? Nowhere in sight.
Back in March Loreal held a Q&A on Instagram, one follower asked, “What is the hardest part about being a coach’s wife?” Her response was genuine as it gets.
“Having been a coach and athlete myself I totally get the demand of the job,” Loreal said. “Especially with him being a head coach. It doesn’t bother me. I am a very busy woman with my own brand and businesses so sometimes it has been difficult to navigate both since it’s all so demanding. But we do a good job at supporting one another so it works.”
The couple had reportedly been headed toward divorce earlier in the year but appeared to reconcile over the summer, with Loreal making regular appearances throughout the season in support of the Longhorns. Her recent Instagram activity, full of motivational posts and references to a “new chapter” in 2025, now takes on new meaning.
