Steph Curry jokingly explains exchange with Rockets coach Ime Udoka

In a chippy back and forth game between a pair of Western Conference rivals that included technical and a flagrant one fouls for Draymond Green, Steph Curry was seen getting into an exchange with Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka. As the first half came to a close, Curry and Udoka appeared to exchange words as the Rockets and Golden State Warriors exited the court.

After the game, Curry was asked about the seemingly intense back-and-forth with the Rockets' head coach. The All-Star point guard jokingly explained he was upset that Udoka canceled a reservation at his wife's restaurant in San Francisco, International Smoke.

He made a reservation at International Smoke, and he canceled it. And so I was kind of upset with him. We went back and forth on that.

Udoka was asked about the exchange with Curry after the game, calling it "a little friendly banter."

Udoka and the Rockets got the final word, dealing the Warriors a 106-96 loss to snap their five-game win streak. Along with handing the Warriors a defeat, the Rockets held Curry to his second lowest scoring performance of the season with only three points on 1-of-10 shooting from the field.
