Steelers to re-sign undrafted CB from 2020 NFL Draft
Isaiahh Loudermilk isn't the only Black and Gold re-signing with the team in the 2025 offseason, as it was reported thta the Pittsburgh Steelers are officially bringing back CB James Pierre on a one-year deal in 2025.
Pierre signed with Pittsburgh Steelers after going undrafted from the 2020 NFL Draft and has been reliable in both a backup CB role and on special teams—playing in 2,124 combined snaps in five seasons.
In the 81 games he's appeared in—eight of which were starts—he has recorded three INTs, five forced fumbles, and 117 combined tackles on defense.
It appeared Pierre would leave the team in 2024, but following his release from the Commanders just before the regular season began, he quickly rejoined the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Pierre will likely return to a backup role and special teams contributor in 2025, and it is likely he will be a lock to make the 53-man roster in 2025.
