Social media reacts to Sarah Ashlee Barker's record March Madness performance vs. Maryland

Even despite the Alabama Crimson Tide suffering a season-ending 111-108 double overtime loss, Monday night's NCAA Tournament matchup against the Maryland Terrapins will be a game that will be remembered for years to come, and a big reason as to why was the performance of guard Sarah Ashlee Barker.

The Crimson Tide's leading scorer, Barker finished with one of the greatest performances in Alabama women's basketball history, finishing with a program record 45 points on 17-of-25 shooting from the field. Barker also went 4-of-6 from three, as well as 7-of-11 at the free throw line, and ended with eight rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Not only will this performance from Barker be remembered for the 45-point total, but also the many key plays she made down the stretch of the game, with arguably none bigger than three clutch free throws to force double overtime.

Here are some reactions on social media to Barker's historic performance Monday night against the Terrapins.
