Seven-round 2025 NFL mock draft: Ravens reload and add depth at key positions

After a heartbreaking loss to the Bills, the Ravens' 2025 NFL Draft spot was determined and set following their divisional playoff loss.

Baltimore will have the 27th overall pick in the first round, one spot ahead of the Detroit Lions and just behind the Los Angeles Rams. The Ravens have picked at No. 27 twice in franchise history, selecting wide receiver Rashod Bateman in 2021 and cornerback Jimmy Smith in 2011.

2025 NFL mock draft

With the first wave of NFL free agency complete and using the mock draft simulator from PFF, we're revealing our second Ravens Wire 7-round mock draft with April's selection process quickly approaching.

Rd 1 pick 27: Nic Scourton, Edge rusher, Texas A&M

Scourton is built like and plays like a Raven. Scourton was one of the highest-rated transfers ahead of the 2024 season due to his combination of size and speed. Standing at 6-4 280 pounds, he had 10 sacks and 50 tackles in his 2023 season at Purdue and finished his career at Texas A&M with five sacks, a forced fumble, 37 tackles, and two passes defended.

Rd 2 pick 59: Azareye'h Thomas, CB, Florida State

Thomas is a smooth, fluid athlete who started all 12 games at cornerback and was second on the team with 52 tackles, including 1.5 tackles for loss and four pass breakups. Thomas is an intriguing cornerback prospect from Florida State who combines impressive length and size with promising physical tools at 6’1″ and 191.

Rd 3 Pick 91: Tate Ratledge, OL, Georgia

Ratledge significantly helped his NFL draft stock at the NFL scouting combine. At Georgia, Ratledge earned two All-SEC selections and was a third-team AP All-American selection in 2024.

Rd 4 pick 129: Barrett Carter, LB, Clemson

Carter is an experienced player with 2,499 career college snaps. He's found success as a Blitzer and has graded out well against the run, according to PFF's metrics. In coverage, he's allowed over 13.0 yards per catch the last two seasons with a completion rate of 63% and three pass breakups.

Rd 4 pick 136: Sai'vion Jones, Edge Rusher, LSU

Standing 6'4 3/4", 280 lbs., Jones is one of the few defenders in the class capable of playing defensive end or outside linebacker and could be a gamewrecker in Zach Orr's scheme.

Rd 5 pick 176: Logan Brown, OL, Kansas

The 6-foot-6, 315-pound offensive tackle spent four seasons at Wisconsin from 2019-2022. After redshirting his freshman season, he appeared in 26 games, including three starts, for the Badgers before entering the transfer portal in November 2022. Brown logged 13 total appearances at Kansas over two years before deciding to go pro.

Rd 6 pick 183: Emery Jones, OL, LSU

Emery Jones Jr. played tackle for the LSU Tigers the past couple of seasons, but he is well suited for a move inside to guard. He could replace Patrick Mekari's versatility by playing tackle or guard. Jones took over the starting job at right tackle in week three of his freshman campaign. Jones had growing pains in 2022, but in 2023, but developed into one of the best tackles in the SEC. It led to Jones appearing in the first round of some mock drafts entering 2024. They saw 33 snaps at the right guard in 2023. Jones earned all-conference honors in 2023 and 2024 and leaves LSU as one of the most productive tackles in program history.

Rd 6 pick 203: Akili Arnold, DB, USC

Before transferring to USC, Arnold spent time at Oregon State. During his time with the Beavers, Arnold had 151 tackles, including 5.5 for loss (with 0.5 sacks), 10 PBUs, 3 INTs, 3 QB hurries, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovering while appearing in 48 games with 25 starts.

Rd 6 pick 210: Tahj Brooks, RB, Texas Tech

Brooks is a fan favorite and Texas Tech’s all-time leading rusher. He is a dynamic player with an underrated change of direction and balance, but he plays exceptionally violent and runs behind his pads.

Rd 6 pick 212: Dean Clark, DB, Fresno State

An athletic safety with good speed, Clark spent four seasons at Kent State before transferring to Fresno State and spending two seasons with the Bulldogs. Clark had four interceptions and two sacks over the last two years with Fresno State.

Rd 7 pick 243: Smael Mondon Jr., LB, Georgia

An All-SEC performer with 212 total career tackles, and a national champion, Mondon was a consistent player in the middle of Georgia’s defense for three seasons. He finished the season with 57 tackles, four tackles for loss, three sacks and three pass deflections, including a 13-tackle performance in Georgia’s dramatic eight overtime victory over Georgia Tech.

Mondon is a unique combination of athleticism and instincts at inside linebacker. He was a five-star recruit in Georgia’s 2021 recruiting class, and the nation’s No. 2 linebacker as well as No. 21 overall prospect according to 247Sports.
