Saud returns to Rome after suffering injury with national team
Bad news for Claudio Ranieri who may lose Saud Abdulhamid at a crucial moment of the season.
In addition to Zeki Celik and Devyne Rensch – both of whom are out injured – Saud also suffered an injury in Saudi Arabia’s recent match with China.
The Saudi full-back has suffered an injury to the posterior thigh muscle, as highlighted by tests carried out in the last few hours.
The Arab federation, through an official statement, announced that the player will leave the retreat and begin a specific rehabilitation program.
In the next few hours, Abdulhamid will return to Trigoria, where he will undergo new tests to precisely evaluate the extent of the problem and the recovery time.
