Julian Hugo has a bright smile and exceptional playing abilities at multiple positions on the defensive line. He is considered one of the top prospects not only in his area but across the country. Currently, he holds 27 offers, with prominent programs such as USC, Arizona State, SMU, Colorado, and UTSA all competing for his commitment. Hugo's progress has continued to rise each year; last season, he recorded 10 sacks, 21 tackles for loss, and 30 quarterback pressures, significantly disrupting both run and passing games for his opponents. Hugo’s trajectory has stayed elevating every year; he amassed 10 sacks 21 tackles for loss and 30 QB pressures last year while wrecking run and passing games for opponents.
Hudson Woods has made himself the anchor of the 5A State Champion Smithson Valley defense. He’s routinely flying around in the offensive backfield, which is demonstrated by his 13 sacks, 29 quarterback hurries, and 20 tackles for loss. The third brother in the Woods' household, he took the baton from his older brother Gavin, who plays for the Navy. Hudson’s instincts, speed, and wingspan make him stand out. Because of his accomplishments and talent, colleges are vying for his presence, as he’s received 19 offers from various schools, such as California, Wisconsin, Northwestern, Oklahoma, SMU, and Boston College. He has even lined up official visits to SMU, Kansas State, and Oklahoma State.
On the defensive side of the ball for the Warriors, 2026 defensive end Thor Myklebust was a joy to watch this last season. Though opponents had to change their game plan to deal with his lack of presence, his impact on games was still significant, especially at crucial points. Thor's brute strength is what sets him apart. He will be a player to watch and know for programs with his overall presence and positive traits on display at camps this offseason.
Ramsey Chavarria plays for both sides of the Burbank High School football team. In his time with the Bulldogs, he has made a name for himself as "the trench man" because of his aggressive play style and explosive first step. He also plays offensive tackle. He has an offer from the Incarnate Word and Texas Southern.
The combination of a defensive end and verified speedster who runs the 400M makes for an impressive athlete in 2027 ATH/DE Brayden Booth from South San High School. The first wave of offers has been impressive, with Ole Miss, SMU, TCU, Kansas State, and UTSA to name a few. The film on Brayden is fun to watch, and you can see that the ceiling and athleticism are off the charts for this young man. He currently holds eight offers and is definitely a talent to keep tabs on for the San Antonio area.
