The Rutgers women's basketball team (13-19) will host the College of Charleston (25-7) Thursday at 7 p.m in the Super 16 Round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament.
The Scarlet Knights defeated Army 71-60 Sunday in the second round of the tournament. JoJo Lacey led the team with 17 points and Destiny Adams finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds - her 16th double-double of the season. The Scarlet Knights will likely be without Kiyomi McMiller, who wasn't seen on the bench against Army in the ninth straight game she's missed, and there hasn't been a word on her return.
Charleston defeated Howard 76-56 in the second round Monday.
