Ranieri wins Maestrelli Trophy for his work at Roma

Claudio Ranieri’s work at Roma has not gone unnoticed since his appointment in November.

According to ANSA, Claudio Ranieri has been named the winner of the 40th edition of the Maestrelli Trophy, an award given to coaches who not only stand out for their work on the pitch, but also for their human values.

The Giallorossi coach has won this award thanks to the great period that Roma has been experiencing since he arrived on the bench.

13 useful results in a row, 9 wins and 2 draws in 2025 and the sixth consecutive victory in Serie A brought home yesterday against Cagliari, a streak that had not been seen since Spalletti’s Roma in 2016.

The coach from San Saba will be awarded on Tuesday at 8:30 pm at Le Panteraie in Montecatini Terme.
