Raiders NFL Mock Draft roundup: Major shift post-free agency

We are now at two weeks since the start of NFL free agency. Which seems like a pretty good time to get a nice sample size of where mock draft think the Raiders will go with their pick at sixth overall. And as you might expect, following the trade to acquire Geno Smith from Seattle, there has been a complete shift in the group think.

Here I put together a list of 40 different mock drafts dating back to March 13 to see what the consensus is on the Raiders' selection.

Most picked players: Ashton Jeanty (24), Tetairoa McMillan (8), Mason Graham (3), Jalon Walker (2), Shedeur Sanders (2)

Compare this to last month which had Colorado QB Shedeur Sanders as the overwhelming most picked player in the draft for the Raiders with Ashton Jeanty and Tetairoa McMillan both as distant second choices.

There is also a clearcut favorite at each position in this draft. Which is to say Jeanty is the only running back, McMillan the only wide receiver, Graham the only defensive tackle and so on.

Also, despite the Raiders biggest losses in free agency coming on the defensive side of the ball, the picks in mock are heavily leaning to offense. Primarily because wide receiver and running back are such obvious glaring need positions for the Raiders.
