Photos show changes in Luka Doncic's physique since start of season

Despite his outstanding play and the fact that he's considered one of the three to five best basketball players in the world, Luka Doncic has routinely been maligned for his lack of fitness and conditioning.

That criticism seemed to hit an apex after he was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers on Feb. 1. He has long appeared to be pudgy, and he sometimes doesn't seem to run the floor as well as he perhaps could.

But some feel he has looked a bit slimmer since coming to the Lakers. Evan Sidery posted a side-by-side comparison of Doncic earlier in the season when he was still with the Dallas Mavericks compared to how he has looked recently.

The 26-year-old superstar is listed at 6-foot-6 and 230 pounds, and he likely weighed a lot more than that early in the season. In the end, it will come down to results for him and the suddenly reborn Lakers.

After struggling with his shooting in his first handful of games with L.A., he has had some hot shooting performances of late, such as his outing on Saturday when he poured in 29 points and tied a career-high for 3-pointers in a half with seven.
