The 27-year-old Johnson was a seventh-round pick of the Eagles in the 2021 NFL draft. The former Tulane product spent three-plus seasons in Philly before being claimed off of waivers by the Giants in mid-September of last year.
Johnson appeared in 12 games for the Giants during the 2024 season before ending the year on injured reserve (IR).
In 61 career games (two starts), Johnson recorded 39 tackles (24 solo, one for a loss), one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and four QB hits. The majority of his snaps have come on special teams.
