Roma midfielder Leandro Paredes was the protagonist of a heated exchange during Argentina’s win over Brazil on Tuesday night.
Paredes got into it with Rodrygo. The young Real Madrid star tried to tease the Roma midfielder, but the Argentine’s response was immediate and sharp.
“I won a World Cup and two Copa Americas, you zero,” Paredes was seen telling Rodrygo.
A back-and-forth that further inflamed the already heated atmosphere, and which recalled the gesture that Paulo Dybala made towards Guendouzi during the last derby won by the Giallorossi.
On the pitch, Argentina dominated with goals from Julián Álvarez, Enzo Fernández, Alexis Mac Allister and Giuliano Simeone, while Brazil, struggling throughout the match, found the net only with an isolated flash.
Rodrygo: "You are very bad."
