The New York Jets offensive line remains the focus in one of NFL.com's latest 2025 NFL draft mocks.
In it, Missouri's Armand Membou was the selection for New York at the No. 7 pick.
A versatile offensive lineman, Membou is considered a prospect that could play both guard and tackle at the next level.
NFL.com's Lance Zierlein breaks down the pick:
The Jets must run the ball and protect Justin Fields. They could take a shot with Carter Warren as the starting right tackle, but snagging a talent like Membou to plug in on the right side makes more sense, relative to the board.
A junior, Membou has his movement skills praised by NFL.com but his size might make his chances at playing tackle in the pros difficult. The Draft Network adds to that, stating that power moves from defensive linemen might cause Membou problems.
Membou appeared in 12 games for Missouri in 2024. His grade from Pro Football Focus saw a massive jump this past season, from 67.1 in 2023 to 90.6.
Free agency is why Membou could be on New York's radar during the draft. While Tyron Smith remains a free agent, he is considering retirement. Meanwhile, Morgan Moses departed for the New England Patriots.
A playmaker for new quarterback Justin Fields could be an option at the upcoming draft for the Jets in the first round as well. However, Fields would appreciate blocking in front of him, too.
