NFL draft prospects with 1st-round grade to know for Arizona Cardinals
Next up in the Arizona Cardinals' offseason is the 2025 NFL draft. They have the 16th pick in the draft, which gives them a lot of possibilities in terms of positional and player value.
Draft Wire's Curt Popejoy notes that he has 22 players in the draft worthy of a first-round pick.
That is good for the Cardinals, as they are guaranteed to get one of them. Naturally, 32 players will be selected in the first round, but not all will be graded as being worth a first-round pick in terms of impact.
So who are the players we can pay attention to for the Cardinals? Below, broken down by position, we can narrow down a bit who might be the Cardinals' selection at No. 16 overall.
We will eliminate quarterback and running back as possibilities, based on their roster situations, while tight end and safety will be considered highly unlikely first-round options. Obviously, some players will be long gone by the time the 16th pick rolls around and the Cardinals are on the clock.
