Mock draft simulations have this player picked most often to the Arizona Cardinals
As it is mock draft season, mock draft simulators are a part of that. Fans, analysts and more run simulations and make picks for the teams they represent.
PFF's mock draft simulator is perhaps the most popular to use. As such, PFF has a lot of data about player selections, where they are selected on average, among other things.
PFF recently shared what player is most often selected in the simulator for all 32 teams.
For the Cardinals, who have the 16th pick in the draft, the player selected most often by users is Michigan defensive tackle Kenneth Grant.
Grant is a rare blend of size and athleticism, displaying exceptional quickness for a player of his stature. He reacts quickly to counters, keeps his hands active in passing lanes, and has the movement skills to be a disruptive interior force.
Grant does fit the profile. He is a big, athletic defensive tackle from a big program. While he has not had major pass-rushing stats, many believe he has good pass-rushing upside.
Grant is projected anywhere from the middle of the first round to the middle of the second.
Grant would certainly improve the Cardinals' defense. Is he worth a first-round pick, especially at No. 16? That is what general manager Ossenfort has to decide in the next month.
