The annual meeting of between AC Milan and the AIMC took place this morning at San Siro, and there was positive dialogue between the parties.
As MilanNews report, the stadium was opened early for the occasion by Milan to welcome representatives of a considerable percentage of its fans, namely those of the Milan Clubs.
The proceedings were opened by the speech of the CEO Giorgio Furlani and the CFO Stefano Cocirio. In the speech given to those present, Furlani spoke of the current and future relationship that will exist between Milan and the AIMC, one that has experienced ‘great turbulence’ this season.
The tension was linked to some changes – imposed by the police authority – which have affected the sphere of ticket sales and changing names on them. The speech gave a clear message of how the collaboration between the club and its fans is fundamental.
Before today there had already been several meetings between the top management of the AIMC, headed by its president Giuseppe Munafò, and the management of Milan to try to find solutions that would not damage the life of the Milan Clubs.
It revolves above all around the organisation of away matches and the possibility of guaranteeing their members important services such as a secure and dedicated purchasing channel. Over 200 people, coming from all over Italy representing the Milan Clubs, took part.
The dialogue was described as ‘positive, authentic and constructive’, demonstrating how Milan want to be close to its fans. The AIMC have represented supporters for 58 years with over 61,000 members and over 600 affiliated clubs throughout the world.
