The 2-seed Spartans saw their season come to an end Sunday night in Atlanta in the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament, losing to 1-seed Auburn 70-64.

MSU has three players out of eligibility, including mainstay shooting guard Jaden Akins, and are expected to see freshman standout Jase Richardson depart for the NBA.
