Michigan State basketball picked to make March Madness Final Four by several analysts
Michigan State basketball has its path for the 2025 NCAA Tournament, and it's one that several college basketball analysts believe can end with a Final Four run.
Among those were CBS's Clark Kellogg and Seth Davis, who projected the No. 2-seeded Spartans to come out of the South Region and advance to San Antonio and the Alamodome for the Final Four in their respective March Madness brackets.
"I had Iowa State here but because of the injury to Keshon Gilbert, I'll take the Spartans," Davis, who is a national college basketball writer and analyst, said.

As to why Kellogg picked Michigan State, well, he didn't offer much reasoning for it outside of picking the Spartans straight up.
"I'm going to take Michigan State, the regular season champs in the Big Ten," Kellogg said.
In addition to Kellogg and Davis, ESPN's Rece Davis and Seth Greenberg both picked the Spartans to make the Final Four on the network's own Selection Sunday show. Greenberg picked Michigan State to face No. 1 seed Florida in the Final Four.
The Spartans have not appeared in the Final Four since 2019, when they lost to Texas Tech. Michigan State has appeared in the Final Four eight times under Tom Izzo. To reach the Final Four of the 2025 NCAA Tournament, Michigan State will likely need to go through the likes of No. 7 seed Marquette in the second round; No. 3 seed Iowa State or No. 6 seed Ole Miss in the Sweet 16; and any number of top overall seed Auburn, No. 4 seed Texas A&M and No. 5 seed Michigan in the Elite Eight.
Michigan State and Bryant are scheduled to tip off at 10:25 p.m. ET on Friday, March 21 at Rocket Arena in Cleveland. The winner will face the winner of Marquette vs. No. 10 seed New Mexico.
