The strongest field is women's amateur golf is prepared to make its way down Magnolia Lane.
The sixth Augusta National Women's Amateur tees off this week with 49 of the top 50 players in the women's World Amateur Golf Ranking dreaming of hoisting the trophy on the 18th green. Included in the field are three returning champions, including 2024 winner and current world No. 1 Lottie Woad.
The field of 72 – 35 Americans and 37 internationals – will play two rounds of stroke play at nearby Champions Retreat Golf Club on Wednesday, April 3, and Thursday, April 4, with the top-30 players and ties advancing to the final round on Saturday, April 6. The entire field will play Augusta National for a practice round on Friday, April 5.
