Masters 2025 purse, payout: How much will winner of Masters Tournament take home?

With the halfway point of the 2025 Masters Tournament having been reached, golf's prestigious event will soon crown a champion and hand out another signature green jacket to one of the top remaining golfers in the field.

That also means one other thing: it's almost time for the Masters Tournament purse to be given out.

On Saturday, Augusta National Golf Club and the Masters unveiled that this year's purse will total $21 million and that the winner of the 2025 Masters Tournament will take home $4.2 million of that purse.

As has been the case of the last handful of years, the purse for golf's marquee major tournament has once again seen an increase from the previous year's purse. The purse for the 2025 Masters Tournament is an increase of $1 million from last year's purse.

Entering Day 3 in Augusta, those in contention for the $4.2 million payout for the winner include Justin Rose, Bryson DeChambeau, Corey Conners, Rory McIlroy and reigning Masters champion Scottie Scheffler. Both McIlroy and Scheffler are looking to make history come the end of Masters Sunday, as they are looking to become the first golfer since Tiger Woods to conquer the career Grand Slam and win back-to-back Masters Tournaments, respectively.
