After securing a result against Manchester United in the UEFA Europa League, Lyon’s attentions return to domestic action as they prepare to face Auxerre. Les Gones could move 4th with a win against L’AJA.
L’Équipe understands that Paulo Fonseca is set to make three changes to his team that drew 2-2 with the Red Devils last time out. In defence, Nicolás Tagliafico is set to drop to the bench with Abner Vinícius promoted to the starting lineup for the Ligue 1 match.
The other two changes are expected in midfield. Tanner Tessman is set to make a comeback from injury and this should result in the American midfielder starting against Auxerre. Nemanja Matić is also poised to return with Paul Akouokou and Jordan Veretout dropping to the bench.
