According to RMC Sport, Luis Campos is looking more and more unlikely to extend his stay at Paris Saint-Germain as the club’s sporting director. This is despite the desire of PSG boss Luis Enrique and the Ligue 1 champions’ fans to see the former Lille director of football remain at the Parc des Princes.

As things stand, contract talks between the sporting advisor and Les Parisiens are stalling. Campos has given priority to the French capital club, but no agreement has yet been reached between the respective parties to keep the Portuguese sporting director in Paris.

The sentiment to extend Campos’s stay at PSG is not just shared by the club’s manager and fans. Les Parisiens’ president, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, has also expressed his desire to see the sporting director remain at the Ligue 1 club. However, as the expiry of his contract approaches, the signs point towards a departure.
