Lineup Update: Red Wings Head to Montreal Healthy with Talbot Holding Down Crease

Tuesday night in Montreal, the Detroit Red Wings will play the biggest game of their season, taking on the Canadiens in a so-called 'four-point' game with the chance to turn the wild card chase on its head.

Some good news for Detroit heading into that pivotal contest is that the team heads to Montreal in good health, or at least as good of health as can reasonably be expected at this time of year.  On Monday afternoon before flying north of the border, coach Todd McLellan said that all of the Red Wings who played in Sunday's win over Florida would be healthy for Tuesday's game against the Canadiens, before adding, "Just like every other team, we've got bumps and bruises, and I'm glad we do, because if we didn't have them, we wouldn't even have a chance."

In net, McLellan will be sticking with Cam Talbot, who will be making his sixth straight start (having also played the final two periods of the game preceding that streak).  Detroit has taken significant strides defensively in that spell, but Talbot has also been excellent as the last line of defense.

"He's played very well," McLellan said of Talbot.  "We're trying to get him the rest that he needs...We believe he can keep doing it.  He's been excellent.  He's made some real big saves, but some of the games ahven't been 40, 45 shots a night.  We've been fortunate enough to keep the numbers 30 and under and not a lot of action on the power play where it can really get hectic and quick, so there are some good things there.  We've been able to practice with ...
