The CONCACAF Champions Cup tournament has reached the quarterfinals, and Wednesday night will see LAFC and Inter Miami face off for Leg 1 of the competition (they’ll play again next Wednesday too). Whichever team wins the two clashes will face either the Vancouver Whitecaps FC or Pumas UNAM in the semis. The winner of the continental competition gets a spot in the 2029 FIFA Club World Cup and the 2025 FIFA Intercontinental Cup. Messi will be playing with Inter Miami in Los Angeles this Wednesday.
