Kylian Mbappé hits two impressive goalscoring benchmarks with Real Madrid brace vs Villarreal
Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has on Saturday secured for himself an altogether impressive individual benchmark.
This comes owing to developments in Real’s meeting with Villarreal.
Carlo Ancelotti’s troops are currently locked in action on the domestic front, having made the trip to La Ceràmica for a La Liga clash with Villarreal.
And, after seeing his side fall behind early on, it has since been the Kylian Mbappé show…
First, the Frenchman pounced upon a loose ball in the hosts’ penalty area, to lash home an unerring finish, and draw Real Madrid level.
Then, just over five minutes later, Mbappé was back at it again, on this occasion picked out on the edge of the box, steadying himself before firing a superb strike into the top corner.
And as alluded to above, owing to such exploits, the summer arrival in Spain’s capital has secured for himself not one, but two goalscoring benchmarks.
After notching his first of the evening on Saturday, Mbappé took his tally for the season to 30 goals across all competitions.
Then, after doubling his tally, the former PSG standout reached the 20-goal mark in La Liga.
