Kim Mulkey got unnecessarily testy with a reporter after LSU loss

Kim Mulkey is out from women's March Madness, with LSU bowing out to No. 1 seed UCLA with a Final Four berth on the line.

And the legendary Tigers coach seemed testy after the loss.

A reporter started off by stating it was the second-straight year her team was eliminated at the Elite Eight stage of the women's NCAA tournament.

Her response: "That’s terrible isn’t it? Is that terrible or is that good?”

The reporter chose the former, and that's when Mulkey got unnecessarily testy: "Is it? How many Final Fours have you played in?"

I get it. You're coming off a crushing loss. Your team has fallen short two years in a row. But that wasn't necessary.

Here's the full exchange:

How many national championships has Kim Mulkey won?

She's won four -- 2005, 2012, 2019 and 2023. Those first three were with Baylor and the last was with LSU.
