Kim Caldwell recaps Lady Vols' win at Ohio State basketball in March Madness
Tennessee advanced to its 37th NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 in program history. The No. 5 seeded Lady Vols (24-9) defeated No. 4 seed Ohio State (26-7), 82-67, Sunday in the second round at Schottenstein Center in Columbus, Ohio.
First-year Tennessee head coach Kim Caldwell recapped the Lady Vols' win.
"I thought we played really, really hard, probably, the hardest we've played all year, which is what we needed," Caldwell said. "I thought we played as a team, which is something we've really been working on. Hats off to the Ohio State fan base. It was loud in there. For a period of time, and I thought we did a really good job, our huddles were tight. We did a really good job of playing through the runs, which is something we talked about."
