Osimhen Chase Heats Up as Man Utd and Juventus Vie for Nigerian Striker

Victor Osimhen has never been one to go unnoticed. Even amid the political theatre that often surrounds modern transfers, his record speaks louder than rumour. Now, with Juventus and Manchester United vying for his signature, the Nigerian forward is once again centre stage in what promises to be one of the defining sagas of the summer.

Juventus Turn Up Heat on Osimhen Pursuit

According to TEAMtalk, Juventus are “pushing harder than ever” to sign Osimhen, having identified the striker as their number one priority during the recent international break. With Randal Kolo Muani unlikely to return from PSG and uncertainty surrounding Dusan Vlahovic’s future, the Turin giants are planning a rebuild — and they view Osimhen as the cornerstone.

TEAMtalk reports: “Juventus holds concrete interest in Osimhen and sources state that they are ‘pushing harder than ever’ to seal a summer transfer.”

The challenge for Juventus will be navigating Napoli’s valuation. While Osimhen’s €75m release clause offers clarity to foreign clubs, it “only applies to clubs outside of Italy,” potentially making internal negotiations more complex. Still, Juventus believe their close ties with the player’s agent could tilt the balance in their favour.

United Monitoring as Osimhen Eyes Premier League

Manchester United, meanwhile, are watching closely. The Premier League remains Osimhen’s preferred destination, and United’s need for a reliable, prolific No 9 is glaring.

“Man Utd are the most interested club in the Premier League, with Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee both potentially leaving this summer,” TEAMtalk revealed. In this context, Osimhen is more than a target — he’s the centrepiece of a proposed attacking overhaul.

With 28 goals in 32 games for Galatasaray this season, Osimhen has made his point. Physically dominant, tactically aware, and with an eye for goal that rarely falters, he offers a blend of qualities United have sorely lacked.

Yet, financial realities remain. United are under pressure from PSR constraints and “may need to sell players before they are able to match Osimhen’s clause,” as TEAMtalk notes. It’s a familiar balancing act — ambition versus sustainability.
