Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews became the franchise leader in total touchdowns in 2024, surpassing running back Jamal Lewis. Despite this, Andrews' future with the Ravens has been heavily debated this offseason after his season ended with a disastrous fumble and two-point conversion drop in the team's divisional playoff loss to the Buffalo Bills. Considering this is the final year of Andrews' contract and budding star tight end Isaiah Likely is also due for a new contract next offseason, it makes sense to consider trading the 29-year-old tight end.
The likelihood of Andrews being traded this offseason was drastically reduced when Baltimore did not move him before his $4 million bonus was due on March 17. The Ravens could still trade Andrews before the draft if the right offer is presented, but the chances of that occurring seem much less likely after the potential cap savings of moving on from him were reduced.
While speaking with the media at the NFL owners' meetings, head coach John Harbaugh said he expects Andrews to play for Baltimore this season.
"Mark is in a good place. He's working really hard. I do fully expect him to be playing for us next year. He's just too good a player."

Alongside Andrews and Likely, tight end Charlie Kolar is also set to be a free agent next offseason. With tight ends being such a focal point of the Ravens' offense, and Andrews and Likely in particular being favorite targets in the passing game for quarterback Lamar Jackson, Baltimore must find a way to keep one of the two for the foreseeable future.
